Waves were crashing on a beautiful summer day. Seagulls argued on whoever would get the fish. It seemed peaceful, until colors of feet kicked up sand. Pallas of four colors, blue, green, red, and grey, ran across the beach in a race. "You have to admit it. I'm going to win this one!" shouted the grey one. He had a black jacket covering his back. "Right! You know I'm faster!" replied the blue one, speeding up ahead of the rest. A yellow one was standing on the side ahead, marking the finish line. In a flash of blue, the leader won. "Hah! Told ya I'd win, Winby!" The green one came up to Winby, the grey one. "Heh, you got beatened by a girl." Winby snorted. "So did you, Garby!" Ruuby, the blue one, turned to the red one. "What do you think, Rorby?" He was asleep. "Lazy, no-good fool..." mumbled Winby. "Atleast we still have Kiibii to decide if it's fair," Ruuby said, pointing over at the yellow one. "Ugh, not her." groaned Winby. "Oh calm down! She is the referee." Kiibii looked to the ground and said, "Ruuby won." Garby rolled his eyes. "Of coarse!"
"Oh stop! I won fair and square!" "But will you win in a match?" challenged Winby. "Ah, ready to be beatened again? Garby, you will be the referee this time." Kiibii stepped back away from the three, dragging Rorby away as well. Garby raised Ruuby's and Winby's arms. "This is a free-for-all! Anything goes. Understand?" They both nodded. "Yeah!" He stepped back. "Alright, get ready to fight when my hand goes down." Seconds felt like minutes...Garby's hand went down. Winby got the first strike but Ruuby countered with a strong kick to the head. He retaliated with a punch, but she dodged. She kicked him in the back, sending him face first in the sand. "Hah!" Windy spat the sand out of his mouth. Growling, he kicked her in the face. He grabbed her and threw her into the sand. She got up and punched him. She tried to grab him, but missed. He had jumped behind her and was preparing to kick. She rolled sideways, dodging the attack and grabbed him by the arm. She began spinning around and threw him a few seconds later into the water.
Ruuby ran up to Winby, with her fist ready to strike, but he was ready. He kicked her hard and grabbed her. Ruuby grabbed his arm and began spinning again. She threw him back into the sand. He landed on his two feet. She ran up to him, but he tripped her and grabbed her feet. He, then slammed her into the sand head first. She fell unconscience. "Game! Winby won!" Kiibii ran up to the unconscience Ruuby. "Ruuby! Ruuby! Get up!" Rorby walked towards Kiibii. "She'll be alright." he said, lazily. Garby high-fived Winby. "You got her good! That should teach 'er a lesson." He snorted, "I hope so. She's so stubborn." "That's because you're a jerk." Kiibii said. Winby looked surprised. "Excuse me, Kiibii? What did you just say?" She turned around, "I said you're a jerk." His face glowed with anger. "Want to settle this?" "No..." came a voice behind Kiibii. "Just...leave her alone. C'mon Kiibii. Help me up." She grabbed her arm and helped her to her house. "That's right! Run away like cowards!" Winby shouted. "Actually, they're walking."
Kiibii was sitting in a chair with a cup of tea in her hands. She watched the good smelling drink move in the china cup. "You okay?" Ruuby asked, worried. "Yeah...but I...um..." Kiibii sighed. "Don't worry about that jerk. He's jealous because you're...uh...faster!" She shook her head. "You mean he's jealous 'cause I have nothing and I did something that not even you can forgive." Ruuby sighed. "You were young and raised without parents." "That still didn't give me the right to do that. I knew better." Kiibii sipped her tea. The next few minutes were silent. Ruuby looked up her her drink. "Did you ever hear about the "Pink One"?" she asked. Kiibii looked up at her. "No." Ruuby smiled. "Well, the Pink One is or was this grand warrior with an odd ability. He can inhale fire, water, and many other things and copy it. He can then use that new ability to attack his enemies." Ruuby smiled, but Kiibii did not. "Sounds a lot like Winby to me."
"That's where you're wrong! They say he had or has a heart of gold. He saved many planets one time from this monster called 02. They also say that he lived or lives on this planet called Popstar." Kiibii looked up again. "Who's they?" "Everyone in the whole galaxy! Even we know the legend and we're on the outer rim." She gulped up all of her tea. "Hmm...shouldn't have done that." Kiibii took a sip of her tea and set it down on the table beside her. "Well, he won't be coming here." "Mmm, I wouldn't think that if I were you. I heard recently from the Waddle Dee (I know they're language, yes) that he's searching for his own kind! They say we look a lot like him." She looked at Ruuby. "Really?" Here's the Kiibii I know, Ruuby thought. "Yes! Honest to God!" Kiibii got up. "I gotta go. Thank you for the tea and the story." She opened the door and ran out with a smile. "Hmm, I sure hope he's coming."
