Hordes of toads came running out of the castle, brandishing electric spears. They threw, stabbed, and thrust at the vicious soldiers, but they were too tough. Yaron, however, backed the soldiers off with ease. He swung his sword at many troops as they charged at the large monster. One unfortunate soldier fell to the ground while running away. Yaron was about to run him through when a sword stopped this. Kirby kicked the toad king and told the soldier to get away. "So, Kirby. We meet again for the last time. I'm so glad your insignificant troops are here. I love killing." Kirby leaped high in the air and came down with his sword pointed downwards. Flesh was pierced, but it was not the king's. A toad was pulled below him just before Kirby stabbed Yaron. "Impressive, but watch this." He ran up to the captain and threw several swings, but Kirby could tell he was a lousy swordsman. It was just his size that threw people off. "Hah! Is that the best you got, toad?" He defended even more attacks with ease. Yaron knew he couldn't this master swordsman.
A black swirling vortex appeared behind the toad. "My master's calling. Ta." And with that he vanished. "Come back here, you coward!" Meta Knight ran up to him. "We still need you at the front lines! Hurry!" The both ran together and effortlessly slaughtered all of the toads. Only five soldiers died, mainly from Yaron's blade. "Gold team! Formation!" Kirby shouted, but only four pallas came. "Where's Kiibii?" They shrugged and Kirby ran up to Meta Knight, who was tending to the wounded. "Meta Knight! Kiibii's gone!" He got up and said, "Attention. Did any of you see a yellow palla?" One of them raised their hand. "I saw her run into the castle after a toad." Kirby brandished his sword and ran into the castle. He stopped to hear the sound of swords clashing. Running into a nearby hallway, he saw a toad being backed against the wall by Kiibii. "Way to go, Kiibii!" The toad gave up his sword and stood motion-less. "P-p-parley?" She turned around. "Shall I?" She asked. Kirby bowed saying, "You shall." She ran the toad through and he fell.
They both walked out of the castle with Halberd in sight. "Captain Kirby! We found no trace of this red diamond you requested of earlier, but we just received some startling news." One of the soldiers said. "Yaron had the diamond with him, but we lost him." Kirby nodded and dismissed him. "How can he hold the diamond?" Kiibii asked. "I don't know, but wherever he went he couldn't have gone far. Ing transported him to another planet, I think. Now all we have to do is hunt him down." He replied. "Lieutenant Hilo! Report! Radio the ship and tell them to drop the lifts. We'll be heading there shortly." Hilo did just that and the army began marching towards Halberd in an orderly fashion. When they arrived the lifts were already on the ground waiting for them. They got on and in a minute, they began the ascend. They soon found themselves in the hanger. The soldiers shook hands and congratulated on how well they did. A few hours later, the ship left T'sus's atmosphere and was in space.
"Meta Knight! Guess what?" Kirby shouted, running up to him. "Kirby, keep your voice down. Now what is it?" He replied. "We found the second diamond on the planet Sabbia! Sadly, there's a catch." Kirby sighed. "What is it?" "Air ride. We have to air ride to win." Meta Knight banged his hand against the wall. "That heartless sport? Never! Let's just destroy the track and steal the diamond!" Kirby shook his head. "It's heavily armed. Even though we have more men, these are Rins. BUT! Maybe we could get one of our men and pretend I'm their racer. That way, we'll have an equal chance of winning and getting into the race." As much as the plan made sense, Meta Knight shook his head. "No. They'll know what we'll look like. They won't let us in." The two of them stood in silence, thinking of an idea. "Well," Kirby began, "I guess I'll have to go alone. I'll have myself captured and then I'll race. Then, I'll grab the diamond and you can pick me up in a warp-plane (if you saw the anime show for Kirby, it's the ship Kirby arrived in)."
They both nodded at this and walked away. Kirby headed for Kiibii, who was on kitchen duty. He beckoned for her and lead her to the library. "Listen to me. Have you heard of air ride?" Kiibii shook her head. "Well, our species are abused awfully across the galaxy. We are beatened, burned, cut, and killed. That's why we're critically endangered of extinction. What worse, they force us to go into these type of races called air rides. We get on these hovercraft called warpstars. These warpstars do not have seat belts. They have no protection or grippers. Their just in the shape of a flat star that we sit on. If we fall off of these things, we could die." He paused. "I'm joining these races." Kiibii's eyes grew. "No! Don't! Why do you have to?" "Because, there's a red diamond as the grand prize. What I'll do is I'll land on planet Sabbia and have myself captured. I'll then join the grand prix and race for the diamond. Meta Knight will pick me up in a warp-plane. It was that ship I crash landed on Ces."
Kiibii put on a determined face. "I'm going with you!" He shook his head. "No! No! You can't! It's too dangerous!" "Dangerous?! I just came back from T'sus, nearly killed by the toads, and trained my butt off for a friggin' week! If I can survive all of that, I think I can survive a stupid race! I'm coming whether you want me to or not!" She said, stubbornly. "I just don't want you to get hurt." He replied. "Then I won't! If you believe that I won't get hurt and if you believe that you'll win these races, then we'll get by this planet without trouble. Now, what kind of planet is Sabbia?" Kirby smiled and said, "Desert! Are you ready for this?" Kiibii shook his head. "Ready, friend!" They had no idea what they'll be getting themselves into.
