Ton, Kirby, and the four other pallas sat on a bench. They noticed the trainers putting a white powder on the bottom of their palla's feet. "That's just so the pallas won't fall off. It's smells horrible and it doesn't even help." Kirby said. Ton felt a black capsule hit the top of his head. "Hey, shouldn't you be getting ready?" One of the trainer's asked. "I don't put that on my pallas. Kirby here is just fine." Ton replied, forgetting his fake accent. "Ahahaha! That's Kirby?! The warrior? You captured Kirby? Some warrior! Ahahahahaha!" The rest of the trainers laughed at Kirby, but he didn't seem to care. One of the trainers decided to throw black capsule at him. That was his mistake. Kirby inhaled the capsule and spat it back out at the trainer. It hit him between the eyes and he fell. Seeing such a funny sight, Kirby laughed out loud and wiped away tear. The trainer got up and stormed up to the pink palla. "You'll pay for that, you stupid palla." He shouted. "I'll like to see you try, you pathetic fool." Kirby retorted.
"Tsk tsk, Kirby. I thought a warrior shouldn't challenge a weakling such as that." A voice said from behind. They all saw a Waddle Doo with a blue palla on a leash. "Soqnal. Why is such an advance trainer doing here?" He replied. "Why shouldn't I? I love walking down memory lane. Remember how you were captured?" Soqnal asked. "Yes, and I still haven't paid you back for that." He chuckled and tied the leash to a pole. "You always had such a good memory. That dept has been paid, but it doesn't matter. You're still in slavery, you weakling." Kirby laughed at the Waddle Doo. "Hah! How do you know I am in slavery and I'm just faking it to win these races and take the diamond?" Soqnal shrugged. "Then congrats. Your master is now your slave. Well done! You captured a stupid, young poppy." An announcer came in before Ton could respond. "We need Ton, Eo, P.T., and Steser to come out into the track with their pallas." The poppys did just that, Ton last. He went up to the announcer and asked, "Can my other pallas come out and watch the race from the sidelines?"
"Sure, go ahead." Ton beckoned Kiibii, Emm, Zir, and Sert and they followed. The track looked huge. It looked like you'll need to complete two laps in order to finish it in under two minutes. "And here they come! Today's starter racers! P.T., with his brown palla Lotin, Steser with his red palla Jogha, Eo with his black palla Chard, and Ton with his pink palla Kirby." The crowd laughed at the warrior, but soon settled down. A short while later, four warpstars were brought out onto the starting line. "Trainers, set your pallas on these warpstars now." Kirby and Ton walked over to a warpstar. Ton helped him up on the warpstar, finding him a little heavier than he thought. Once Kirby was on the warpstar, he said to Ton, "Kiibii looks a little worried. Tell her I'll be okay. These pallas are novice and this won't won't take long and all of that." He nodded and walked away from the warpstar. A short while later, the countdown began. 3...2...1...Now! Kirby thought and he zoomed off.
"And there goes Kirby ahead of the others. Look at him go!" Ton nudged Kiibii. "Hey, don't worry. Kirby told me that these pallas are novice." She smiled at him, but still looked a little worried. "Right." Several seconds later, they saw Kirby speeding past the starting line with the other three lagging behind. "The second lap is taking place and we already know who's going to win! This race was over before it started, ladies and gentlemen." A minute later, Kirby finished the race and halted to a stop. "Kirby's in first, with Chard in second, Lotin in third, and Jogha in fourth. Ton must've trained Kirby really well for him to ride that fast." He hopped off of the warpstar and pushed it back towards the others. His friends were speechless and were amazed on how fast he went. "'Twas nothing. You should see me on a hydra." Kirby said, shrugging. "I thought those were banned." Zir said. "They are." They sat in silence for a while. Kiibii asked if she could sit on the warpstar and Kirby let her.
He kept his hand on the machine to keep in from taking off. Soon after, the announcer began speaking, "Here's the second racers of the day..." and it went on. After a few races, Kirby was back up, but he saw that Soqnal was up too. "Now we're at the final races of the day, ladies and gentlemen! Here are this race racers: Ton's pink palla Kirby, Soqnal's blue palla Rotix, Nad's purple palla As-aldis, and Yool's red palla Iteb. Have your palla's ready to race, trainers!" The trainers, including Ton, set the warpstars up to the starting line. Kirby saw that Rotix, Soqnal's palla, looked a little nervous. Without looking at her, he said to Rotix, "You nervous?" She looked at him. "Me? Not really. You?" He shrugged. "Nah. Good luck out here." She smiled. "Heh. You too." Then the countdown began. 3...2...1...Now! and they took off. Kirby and Rotix went ahead of the other two. They turned to the left and went into a dark tunnel. They left it and flew off a large ramp.
They flew through a ring and landed, with Kirby in the lead. A corkscrew was coming up and he held on tight. He sped up and went through the corkscrew as fast as he could. Rotix was catching up to him and bumped him. Kirby didn't seemed fazed by this, but he knew he could lose control if she continued to bump him. He move to the right and Rotix began to pass him. He bumped her hard, but she wasn't ready for that. She almost fell off, when Kirby grabbed her arm and pulled her back. "Your welcome!" He said. She was surprised by this, but soon shrugged it off. Another ramp was coming up and, like the previous one, had a floating ring. They flew through the ring and landed with, as before, Kirby in the lead. The track began to swerve left and right. They passed the starting line and prepared for the left turn and tunnel. They both flew through the first circle and the corkscrew came up. Kirby sped through the twisting track and began down the long piece of track. Rotix was coming up, but Kirby flew off the ramp and now was farther than she could reach.
