Kirby flew past the finish line and did a sudden drop. He turned the warpstar around and hopped off. Rotix hopped off after crossing the finish line and so did the other two. "Kirby won this race! Rotix is in second with Iteb in third and As-aldis in fourth! Now Kirby and Rotix must race alone, but with a twist. A shredder will be behind them forcing them to go even faster!" The crowd roared with excitement and Kirby saw a giant machine being rolled out. It had spikes on a roller with a strong engine behind it. "This should be fun." He said, sarcastically. Kiibii ran up to him with shock upon her face. "Don't go! You could get killed!" She shouted. "That's air ride for you." He said and he hopped back on the warpstar. He slowly rode it towards the starting line as Rotix was being yelled at by Soqnal. Soon after, she came to the starting line with pure hatred in her eyes. "After I win this race, you and all the other pallas will be freed." Kirby said. "And how will you do that?" She asked. "Ever heard of Meta Knight?" Rotix looked at him and smiled. "Thank you."
Then the countdown began once again. 3...2...1...Now! The shredder wasn't as bad as they thought. They went through the tunnel and up the ramp. The shredder flew of the ramp and, since it was so heavy, landed with the ground shaking. Kirby and Rotix fought to stay on their warpstars. Luckily, their skills helped them and they began to speed up. They rode on the corkscrew for the last time, as the shredder demolished it. "Whoa!" Kirby shouted. "Clearly you've never been to Adar." Rotix shouted above the wind and crowd. They flew off of the ramp with the shredder behind them going even faster. It caused its second earthquake, but the two were already to far ahead to feel the effect. Going through the tunnel yet again, the went up the ramp and landed. The shredder flew off the ramp and caused another small earthquake. Kirby wasn't prepared for this and nearly fell off of his warpstar, but Rotix grabbed his arm and pulled him back up. "You're welcome!" She shouted.
Since the corkscrew was destroyed, they just had to go over the rubble. It wasn't too hard. The ramp came up and the took off. The finish line was getting close. "You finish the race, okay?" Rotix shouted, pulling back. Kirby crossed the finish line with Rotix behind him. Once the shredder passed the line it stopped. The staff, then, rolled it back into the way it came. "Kirby won, with Rotix in second! Kirby is now our champion! Congratulations, Ton!" Ton was awarded with a medal around his neck, but he soon took it off and held it in his hand. Soqnal ran up to Rotix and smacked her with the back of his hand. "You idiot! You lost to Kirby, you worthless scum!" She glared at him and said, "Once I'm freed, I'll kill you. I promise you that." The cruel Waddle Doo just scoffed. "In your dreams, animal!" "And now, Ton will be awarded with a red diamond! This diamond cannot be touched by our hands, for an odd force forbids us. He will be given it in a glass sphere and stand." A Rin came out with what the announcer described. However, Ton did not have a chance to grab it.
Kirby snatched it from the Rin's hands and broke the glass. He picked up to diamond and raised it up high. The crowd gasped at this. He heard comments like "He can pick it up?" or "The theif!" or "The annoncer lied!". Kirby just smiled. "That's right. Only I can pick up the diamond! Everyone, look above you." And they saw a large ship hovering above the stadium. It descended even closer and soldiers parachuted from it. They all landed with swords drawn. "Alright, listen up! From now on, there will be no more races in this stadium or even this planet! This stadium will now be used as a meta base! Everyone, leave the stadium now or be arrested by the Intergalatic Republic!" Ton and the pallas began to leave when Kirby shouted, "Except all of the pallas. The pallas will remain here in safety! Release them from their cages and leashes now!" Kirby was given a sword as hundreds of pallas appeared on the stadium track. A Rin grabbed his sword and swung at Kirby.
He defended his swings and soon disarmed the Rin. He held his hands up and backed against the wall. Rotix was now freed with the help out the soldiers. She kept to her promise and grabbed a soldier's sword. She ran up to Soqnal and stabbed him. "Hey! Get her!" Shouted a commander. "Wait! That's alright!" Kirby said, blocking their path. "He was cruel to me and to many other pallas including her. That was a harsh, but fair death." The soldiers picked up to doomed Waddle Doo and carried him outside the stadium for him to die. "Next time, tell me before you do that. Murder's illegal, even if he deserved it." Kirby said. "Sorry, but I told him I would kill him. I keep to a promise." A soldier commander went up to Kirby. "We should be leaving momentarily after we send down more crew." He nodded and dismissed him. Kiibii ran up to Kirby and hugged him. "They're free?" Kirby nodded, hugging back. "Yeah, they're free." They stopped hugging when Rotix said, "You two are going out?" Kirby groaned. "Why does everyone think that?"
Kiibii laughed. "No, we're just best friends. Hi, my name is Kiibii. What's yours?" Rotix shook her hand. "Rotix. Sorry about that; I didn't know." Kirby smiled at her. "That's alright. The soldiers here should take good care of you. Once we kill this demon called Ing, we'll take you to a planet called Ces. We, sadly, can't take you there now because it's being taken over by Ing." She understood, but soon went back up to Kirby. "Hey, I have to ask you something." She said. "Can I join your crew for a while?" Kirby thought about this and then said, "Sure, but there's not much you can do. We already have all of the positions filled. I think it's best you help out here. I don't mean to be mean and all, but you'll get bored with nothing to do." She sighed. "Well, darn. I wanted to go up into the spaceship." Kirby laughed at that. "Sorry! Oh, that was funny." She soon laughed and went to help a soldier carry some supplies. "Sir, we installed the transporter in Ton's house just like you requested of us." A soldier reported. "Good job." Kirby replied.
"It's getting close to departure, everyone! All visitors board the coming lifts." Soon enough, lifts were brought down. Kirby went up to Ton and the other three. They shook hands with him, saying goodbye. Zir was the only one who hugged him, but he didn't seem to mind. "Enjoy your new transporter, Ton! We should be sending you supplies in a week. Help out with the other pallas here as well if you can." Kirby said. Ton nodded, smiling. Kirby got on a lift, with Kiibii by his side.
