A loud beeping noise was heard throughout the ship. Then a voice was heard over the intercom, "Gooooood morning, everyone! It's 6am on our clocks which means time to get up! Please check your schedule to the right of your beds to see the food that will be served and the chores that are being handed out. Have a nice day!" Kiibii groaned. "I hate morning people." She crawled out of bed went into the restroom. Washing her face, she thought, I should get down to the cafeteria before they eat everything. She ran up to the schedule and it turned on by itself. It printed out a map of the ship and a list of chores to do. The map was quite large, but she saw that it was easy to find everything. She even saw the best route to the cafeteria. Several minutes later, she found that most of the crew had gotten there. Quickly, she ran up to the line (which was short) and grabbed a tray. Much to her surprise, there was plenty of food left. She grabbed two pancakes, three sausages, and a class of milk. She looked around to find Kirby.
He was sitting with Meta Knight and the rest of her friends. Kirby noticed her and signaled her to sit down. There was an empty seat next to him and she sat down. "So, Kiibii, how well did you sleep?" Rorby asked. "Oh fine, until that morning person woke me up." Meta Knight chuckled. "You'll get used to him. In the meantime, did you get the list?" Kiibii nodded. "Yes, I did. I didn't have time to read it, though. I guess it would be a good idea to read it now." She grabbed the list from under her tray. "...These are too bad. Who gives the chores out?" Kirby smiled. "Meta Knight, Ays, and I. We didn't have much left so we decided to give you simple chores." Meta Knight smiled beneath his mask. "But don't get too comfortable." Kiibii smiled back. "Don't worry. I won't." They ate while they talked about useless things. They were surprised that Winby was actually laughing in a good way. Their merriment was cut short by a fimiliar sound. "Hey, everyone! It's 7:30 and you know what that means." "No, we don't." Kiibii said, in a sing-song voice.
"Breakfast is over so grab your trays and put them on the conveyor belt to be washed. Have a nice day!" They all got up and put they're trays on the belt and got ready to do their chores. Kirby waved to Kiibii, "See ya later! I'll see you at twelve for lunch!" She waved back, "I'll see you too." Kiibii looked at her list as read the first item: Help with kitchen duty. She walked over to the kitchen and saw a bunch of cappies (born from under the tops of mushrooms) cleaning dishes. "Uh, hi. I'm here for kitchen duty." One of the larger cappies came up to her and shouted, "Well, what are you standing around here for? Grab a plate and get to washing!" By the pitch of the voice, Kiibii could tell it was female. "Er, sorry." She said, running up to a dish stack. "Don't be sorry! Get busy!" She whipped Kiibii on the back with a hot towel. She decided to suck up the pain. She didn't want to get whipped by her again.
Kiibii spent the rest of the morning sweeping the floors, taking the trash out to the disposal, and mopping the cafeteria, all under Hilga's (the large cappy) command. She was oddly relieved to hear the preppy voice, "Hi everyone! It's 12:00 and that means it's lunchtime! Head for the cafeteria now!" She began heading towards a table when Hilga grabbed her. "Oh no, you don't! You're going to need to help us put the lunch trays out." She dragged Kiibii back into the kitchen and handed her a stack. "Put these on the counter nearest to the door." She carried the heavy trays to the counter that she pointed out. She managed to set them up on the counter. They continued like this until the crew arrived. Kiibii thought she could finally have a break when Hilga grabbed her again. "Help us give out the food!" She squirmed out of her hands. "They get their foods themselves just like at breakfast!" Hilga just laughed. "That's why YOU'RE giving out the food. You can ask what they want and give it to them." Kiibii moaned and went up to the hungry crew.
Most of them had already gotten their food. She did what Hilga asked (more like commanded) her and she was usually thanked. When Kirby came to get his food, she mouthed, "Help me." He nodded and continued getting his food. He set his tray on a table and went back up to the kitchen. "Kiibii! Come on! It's time for lunch." She began to walk with Kirby when Hilga came up behind them. "Where are you going? There are hungry mouths to feed!" Kirby didn't like where this was going. "I'm so sorry, Hilga, but it's lunchtime and she's hungry." She grabbed Kiibii by the arm. "Oh no! She still has kitchen duty!" "Not under my command! Let her go or you will be forced to clean without food or water for a day!" Hilga let go and stormed off. Kiibii rubbed her arm. "Are you okay?" Kirby asked. "Yeah, I'm fine. I'll get my food. I'll see you at the table." It wasn't long when they were all sitting at the table and eating. Unlike before, Kiibii was quiet. Kirby nudged her. "Are you okay?"
She shrugged, "Yeah." Kirby shook his head. "I know you're lying. Just ignore her. Hilga is just some old fool who got some dead-end job." She sighed and continued to eat. Meta Knight tapped Kirby from behind, "We need you at the bridge. We're preparing for a landing." He got up and followed him. They climb a flight of stairs and finally found themselves in the bridge. Kirby saw a huge ice planet. "What is this, Hoth?" Meta Knight chuckled. "No, this is planet Glace. Here we spotted a red diamond." Kirby looked at the soldier, "What use is a diamond?" "This diamond has a holy power. Blessed by an angel, it can destroy a demon. However, it can only do so when combined with three others. Legend says that it will transform into a powerful weapon." Kirby's eyes shown. "Ooo! ...I call it!" Meta Knight sighed. "You were going to get it all along." "Oh. Cool. So, who will go?" "You, I, and the rest of the palla." He replied. Kirby looked back at the giant ice planet. "Grab the blankets. We're going to have one heck of a time."
